madeleine
Track 1 · out 23 Oct 2026The opener. Madeleine is m, the one from #midnight-garden, and this was the first new title anyone saw, on the Spotify tracklist preview.
Lyrics for all 18 marroW songs, in tracklist order, plus a few notes on how each one ties into the lore. I don’t copy the lyrics onto this site, they belong to brakence and his publishers, so the links go to Genius. Spotify and Apple Music show them in the app too.

A death roll is the spin a crocodile does to pull its prey under, and knot-here.world has a crocodile with the crow’s feather you need stuck in its teeth. Could be a coincidence. Or noT.
Teased on 7 October with a clip of a little wooden cabinet full of necklaces, sitting in the sand. The same day knot-here.world got a new scene where the Shadow talks about a drawer, over what looks like that same cabinet.
Named after the Wishing Well from knot-here.world, the one that drained to play crystallized.
Same name as guesswork, the story knot-here.world turned into a week before the album.
The jester has been around since still-here.world, and now he has a song.
One of only three marroW songs without Wyatt Otis on it. Hugo Chan co-wrote and co-produced it.
The first single from marroW, with a video directed and edited by quadeca. The marroW cover is this single’s artwork flipped around. And that capital T at the end is the same trick as knoT here.
Track 9 on marroW. It came out on 16 October together with bitE, a week before the album.
Just brakence and Wyatt Otis on this one. Wyatt co-produced it and they wrote it together.
Track 11 on marroW. It came out on 16 October together with body, a week before the album.
One of three marroW songs 50landing helped write, with madeleine and ready or noT.
Teased on X and Instagram two days before it dropped, and hidden inside knot-here.world: ask the Wishing Well for crystals and it drains to play a clip. One of Kid Knot’s random lines at the end of the game brings up being crystallized too.
Track 14 on marroW, and the longest one before the last two.
The heart is the grave in the middle of the knot-here.world map, where you burn the effigy.
The shortest one on marroW, under two minutes.
Track 17, and at 5:22 the longest song on marroW.
The closer, with Hugo Chan as co-producer and additional production from quadeca, the same quadeca who made the ready or noT video.
That’s the whole album. Every marroW song has a spot on here now.
